Useful question types
Motivation: Why this company, this programme and this role?
Competency: Tell me about a time you solved a difficult problem.
Teamwork: Describe a time you worked with different personalities or cultures.
Pressure: Tell me about a time you had to deliver under a tight deadline.
Role fit: Which skills, education or experience will help you succeed in this position?
Founder note: Nicola used PrepRun interview mode while preparing for the European Parliament Schuman traineeship process, passed the interview and was selected. The module is built around timed recording, transcript review and repeated improvement.
How to practise
- Use a real timer: prepare for two minutes, answer for up to three.
- Use one clear example per answer.
- Make your personal action explicit, not only what the team did.
- End with impact and role fit.
If you have the vacancy, paste it into PrepRun to generate more relevant practice prompts. Exact real questions can still vary.
