Preparing for a live interview?

Use the General interview coach to prepare for a conversation with an interviewer. Add your job vacancy first; your CV is optional.

Once your questions are prepared, you can read your first rehearsal question before turning on your camera and microphone. Reading it does not start a timer or use your question allowance. Recording still requires the device check.

Already have your own interview questions?

Choose Custom interview to rehearse a list you have prepared. Add questions one at a time, use Paste a question list without creating a file, or import a PDF, DOCX, TXT or Markdown document. For pasted text with one complete question on each line, select One question per line (pasted text) before Preview questions. Review the extracted list, then choose Add previewed questions. Previewing does not add questions to your set or save them to your account.

Open interview setup below, choose Change mode, then Custom interview. Continue through the optional context step to the question editor. A vacancy and CV are optional. You can set preparation and answer times for your rehearsal.

Adapt a saved set for another interview. In Saved sets, load the set you want to reuse, then choose Copy as new set. This copies added questions and current settings into a separate draft; your saved original stays unchanged. Rename and adapt the copy, then choose Save to account when ready. Add or update any question edits before copying. Choose New question set instead to start with an empty list.

Try the import format first. Download a sample TXT with 3 questions and replace these original practice prompts with your own. For a TXT or Markdown file with one complete question on each line, select One question per line (TXT / Markdown) before importing, then review the extracted list. These are sample practice prompts, not real employer questions.

Keep a readable copy. After adding or updating your questions in the editor, choose Download question text to save a TXT file in your browser.

The file contains only added question text, in list order. Timings, criteria and notes are excluded. Use it for reading and copying; it is not a full set backup. Reimporting may change formatting or question boundaries.
